Join us on the New Canberra Hospital Expansion site tour to explore the different departments of this new clinical services building which will enable a bigger, better Canberra Hospital to meet the needs of the growing city and region of Canberra. It is the largest healthcare infrastructure commitment ever undertaken by the ACT Government.
The new building includes more operating rooms, more treatment spaces and more intensive care beds to expand the overall capacity of the Canberra Hospital. We will start in the Welcome Hall and tour the Emergency Department, Medical Imaging, Perioperative Suite, Family Respite Lounge, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiac, Laboratories and Inpatient Unit.
Special thanks to the Major Projects Canberra and Canberra Health Service for supporting the Australian Health Design Council in organising this site visit which is exclusive to our members. Tickets are limited to 25 and available exclusively for AHDC members on a first-come, first-served basis, so please be mindful when booking your ticket.
Please note, this event does not include transport. All registrants will need to arrange their own travel to Canberra Hospital.
