There are significant consequences of applying importance levels to building projects. Statutory requirements require the rating to be provided as a basis of structural design. A number of project journeys have been fraught with difficulty in applying an informed and early decision process.
This third AHDC educational event will include a series of smaller sessions to collectively overview and invite a greater rigour to the decision process. The speakers will cover the purpose, statutory requirements, potential weaknesses, selected roll on consequences and provide examples of approaches.
